In an effort to cut back on water expenses, Bac Lieu Seafood Processing JSC (Suoi Dau IP, Khanh Hoa province) has signed a contract with SIXEI Co. Ltd to upgrade and improve the existing wastewater treatment plant of the enterprise. The existing WWTP was built in 2001 with a capacity of 500 m3/day. Currently the plant is suffering overload and unable to treat wastewater.
The new WWTP with a capacity of 1000 m3/day is capable of treating wastewater to the extend that meets QCVN 11:2008/BTNMT standard. This is expected to help the enterprise recycle water resource and minimize production cost.
